Last week we photographed our second Tiny Light, little Daniel who was born with a heart condition and had to undergo surgery in his first few days of life. When we met this precious little guy, he was 14 days old. He was on the mend and doing really well, which warmed our hearts. Daniel comes from a large family and has 6 big brothers and sisters. Having all 9 members of the family in our studio was so fun. They really burst our studio into life. I asked Daniel’s parents, Amery & Christiane, if their house is ever quiet. Amery told me that when it is, they know the kids are getting into trouble. We really enjoyed meeting this remarkable family. Daniel is surrounded by a lot of love, that is for sure.

My goodness. Shawn & Meagan’s beautiful little twins, Liliana & Elena, are so gorgeous. I thought I was just being mushy when I couldn’t stop commenting how cute they were during their newborn photo session and when I was editing through  the photos. But when Roger started to work on Liliana & Elena’s photos he too kept on commenting on how cute they are. We both wanted to reach through our computer and squeeze their little cheeks. It was so nice for us to see how happy Meagan and Shawn are and to get to meet their precious little girls.

I love this series of pics. Their expressions and the different things they are doing with their hands are priceless. So so cute.

As you can see the girls were wide awake. Thank goodness for the wonderful milk coma so that we could get some sweet sleeping photos!

Meagan’s friend made these headbands for the girls. I love how the flowers are almost as big as their little heads.

When Meagan & Shawn got in touch with us and told us that they were expecting not 1 little one, but 2 little girls, we were so excited for them. Meagan & Shawn are a truly lovely couple and it is amazing to think that it has been 4 years already since we first worked with them on their amazing wedding day. They came into the studio the other day so that Roger could capture these gorgeous maternity portraits for them. Doesn’t Meagan look absolutely stunning?
