Little Duncan’s First Photo Shoot

We were super excited to get to meet little Duncan, Candace & Dylan’s newborn baby boy. We went over to their house so that Roger could capture some photos of this adorable little guy. Duncan was a premature baby and he was one month old when Roger created these images. Isn’t he the cutest with his rolly polly elbows and his oodles of hair? It is so special for us to have captured Candace & Dylan’s wedding and to know have photographed another important milestone in their life together.

Congratulations, Candace & Dylan, on the arrival of your little one. We are so so happy for you.

Little Daniel, A Tiny Light

Last week we photographed our second Tiny Light, little Daniel who was born with a heart condition and had to undergo surgery in his first few days of life. When we met this precious little guy, he was 14 days old. He was on the mend and doing really well, which warmed our hearts. Daniel comes from a large family and has 6 big brothers and sisters. Having all 9 members of the family in our studio was so fun. They really burst our studio into life. I asked Daniel’s parents, Amery & Christiane, if their house is ever quiet. Amery told me that when it is, they know the kids are getting into trouble. We really enjoyed meeting this remarkable family. Daniel is surrounded by a lot of love, that is for sure.

Little Liliana & Elena’s First Photo Shoot

My goodness. Shawn & Meagan’s beautiful little twins, Liliana & Elena, are so gorgeous. I thought I was just being mushy when I couldn’t stop commenting how cute they were during their newborn photo session and when I was editing through the photos. But when Roger started to work on Liliana & Elena’s photos he too kept on commenting on how cute they are. We both wanted to reach through our computer and squeeze their little cheeks. It was so nice for us to see how happy Meagan and Shawn are and to get to meet their precious little girls.

I love this series of pics. Their expressions and the different things they are doing with their hands are priceless. So so cute.

As you can see the girls were wide awake. Thank goodness for the wonderful milk coma so that we could get some sweet sleeping photos!

Meagan’s friend made these headbands for the girls. I love how the flowers are almost as big as their little heads.
